I was born in Belzoni, MS and grew up in Delray Beach, FL. After college, I moved to Atlanta in 1993 and spent 5 years in sales. I tell people that I was running as far from God as I could go and I ended up running into God! Then, that thing I said I'd never be (a pastor), is what I became (ha, ha), and I've been in ministry since 1998.
Laura and I married in 2003, Grace (age 18) was born in 2005, and we adopted Micah (age 13) in 2009. We've lived in Sugar Hill since 2004 and we love this community. I've served in leadership with All Pro Dad (Lanier cluster schools), Longhorn Dads (LHS), Good News Club, Sugar Hill Elementary PTO, Lanier Middle Advisory Board, and the Lenox Park HOA.
Educationally, I have a BA in Economics from the University of Florida and a Masters in Divinity from Metro Atlanta Seminary. Favorite things include college football, camping, craft beer, a good fire, and the gospel! I want everyone to know and experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ, because there's nothing better, more important, or more satisfying in life.
