We had a great evening at our 2nd Summer Student Gathering on Wednesday, July 24. The primary highlights included the students building over 100 "care bags" to be given to people in need as we come across them in the community. We were also greatly blessed to have Bonnie Pruitt share her faith story about how she grew up with a great desire in "being good," but she didn't really know what it was to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Bonnie shared the life changing impact of a friend in college who invested in her life and helped lead her into a relationship with Christ. Bonnie got emotional as she shared with the student the crystal clear moment when she felt as if God had physically wrapped His loving arms around her. She had known about the love of God in Jesus, but now she had experienced it.
